Iron Skillet Restaurant

I came in on the late-night after getting back from the airport. It was quiet, not a lot of people given the hr... The food was good, the service was good. It was a quick dining experience.

Great buffet. Food fresh anc not dried out. Good variety

Breakfast was awesome , service was great.

The chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches were great! The sweet potato fries were THE BEST i have ever had. Great coffee too!

I was driving a motor coach with 40 people on board...I was only able to give them a one hour notice....they did a fabulous job on a very short notice!

The service was prompt, the food was tasty and the prices were reasonable.

Nothing really bad to say but nothing out of this world either. I like the Iron Skillets and this is one of my favorites.Always good food and the servers do a great job.

Disgusting food. Got at the buffet close to closing and although salad looked like it been sitting there it had some dark pieces there was nothing else Appetizing. Ended up in the er after eating the salad. Called to let the manager know of the situation she said she doubted it was the salad. Super rude not worth what I paid to get sick. Just disgusting!

The buffet food was dried out & we arrived as it was being set up for lunch. So it wasn't sitting out... it's just bad food. The server with long red hair in a ponytail was a complete jerk to my husband. Just unnecessary rudeness. Save time & $..... go some place else!

I’ve eaten here before and the last time was good. It’s a hit or miss with these truck stop restaurants. This time was a miss, my medium rare steak was well done and my over easy eggs’ yolks were broken and partially cooked. I asked for the hash-browns with cheese and grilled onion and asked nicely for it to please not just be hot raw onion because i have this issue very ofter. I was given loaded hash-browns mistakenly with peppers and bacon pieces. This wouldn’t have been an issue, besides underneath the layer of cheese that made it look like a decent serving of hash browns, everything was terribly burnt. Don’t get me wrong, I love my hash browns crispy and well done. But these were burnt all the way through until blackened like charcoal. Makes me want to just eat a can of soup in my truck every night because it’s a 50/50 chance at these places if you get the “diner quality” meal that you expect or a huge disappointment and waste of your hard earned money.Ye have been warned.

Iron Skillet is a truck stop by trade, but it is also a great food stop for travelers. A restaurant with breakfast all day long with hamburgers, steak, sandwiches and other great home cooked style food. Prices are competive and a bonus, they have a cute little truck stop store with novelties of various themes. Service is with a smile, kind words and very attractive.

Buffet is the way to go here. Nice selection and tasty. I like to put the food in my mouth🤓

Definitely a place for a quick meal. Steak had good flavor for the type of place it was. A trucker stop. The buffet needed help as they needed more variety.

Today I give it a two-star for the buffet I got a steak and cheese sub with fries and a Pepsi $15 but it was okay not a bad place but if you ever go there don't be surprised if you're surprised just saying

I visited on a Saturday around 5. The place place was busy. Everyone was eating and enjoying themselves. The food was good with a lot of options. The service was fast and friendly. I've been here many times before and it's been consistently good like this.

We live all the way in Canandaigua but will take the drive out to eat here. Their buffet is wonderfully delicious.

Me and my wife and kids enjoy going here we pretty much ate everything off the menu and continue to go I recomend if ur looking for a quiet place to.eat this is one of them

Lousy steak. Most people don't want or eat greasy fat. A real steak restaurant would trim all of it off. See pic. A $20 bill it cost.

Plenty of seating, very clean, friendly staff, great selection for the buffet. Well maintained Buffet even after lunch rush was over but managers are not of great quality

The food is what you expect of a truck drivers restaurant. The buffet is stale and been sitting out for a while without change over. Not to mention the buffet is expensive for what it is. Go to Magee's dinner nextdoor and enjoy a better meal. I have been to both a few times and that's the best advice I can give on this place to eat.

Went there with friends for thanksgiving. They had a nice selection of a buffet bar. Plus the store is in the same building. Nice place to check out. Good food prices are reasonable.

Very nice salad and buffet. Soup (2) is available with the buffet. Nice choices on the salad bar. Service is good as well as the prices.

Good late nite stop 4 food or early breakfast if ur a local. If traveling it's nice place 2 relax.

The buffet was really good when I visited this time. I've been there when it was lackluster. The waitress came over several times to check on us and was super nice.

Nice place for a quick lunch on the go or a family meal.

Went first time for breakfast buffet. All “hot” foods were cold. Sausage was undercooked. Food that was supposed to be cold was good, like pasta salad. Still have a stomach ache almost 12 hours later. But fast, friendly service! Seems to be quite a few good reviews, so not sure what was going on today but I will stop in again and see if it was just a bad day.

It's far from the best.. however it's not the worst place I've been too either
